Should I buy OEM parts?

Yes, you should! With OEM (original equipment manufacturer) you know that you're getting parts that are made specifically for your vehicle and keep the overall integrity of your ride high. Whenever there is an opportunity to use OEM parts, we recommend it.

Should I get aftermarket auto parts?

Aftermarket parts are parts that don't come directly from the OEM. They can cost less and be found in general car part retailers. There are certainly quality aftermarket parts brands, but any time you're getting repairs or parts replacements, make sure you check the quality and consult with automotive professionals like us.

Which parts are most expensive to repair?

Parts repair and replacement can depend on what's being replaced. There's affordable fixes, and those that are going to cost more like transmission, suspension or brake line parts repairs. Our service team is here to help with all of those, and with regular visits and inspections we can let you know if something needs replacement so you're not having costly repairs all at once, and can mitigate some costs.

When should you request OEM parts?

When you're in a collision, or have your vehicle under lease or still have warranty coverage, that's when you should request OEM parts. The former is to keep your vehicle integrity high and the latter is because for leasing it's required so as not to void your warranty.

What car parts are covered under warranty?

For all new Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles, you'll find thanks to the Powertrain Limited Warranty, the following is covered:

  • Engine
  • Axles
  • Gaskets

Who installs aftermarket parts?

Repair centers like ours are able to install aftermarket parts, as we do have some for many different options especially older vehicles, or if you're looking to upgrade with different types of options. You should consult us before if you're looking to add certain options so we can order the right parts and ensure it's a fit, while giving you the benefit of the labor being warrantied when you go through us.

What car parts are not covered by warranty?

You won't find coverage for body panel or exterior damage, accidental damage, environmental damage, wear and tear and interior damage in your warranty.

Should I buy car parts from Amazon?

There are many parts retailers and Amazon sells from reliable ones, but we advise that when it comes to genuine parts that are essential to your vehicle running, try and consult an auto repair and parts expert. It's one thing to get your wiper blade and headlight bulbs online, it's another to try and pick parts that are vital to your vehicle running.

Can you purchase auto parts at the car dealership?

We sell auto parts here via our parts department and provide a wide range of Mopar accessories and auto parts to give you genuine options for your Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram. When you have your vehicle serviced and need a part, we can also source it easily here or through our network.

Can I bring my own parts to the dealership or service center?

Call us and ask so we can advise you. Generally we want to work only with the parts we have and can source. If we did we'd need to calculate labor costs, and make clear if there's any parts breakage we're not responsible since they're your own parts.

Who installs aftermarket car parts?

We can install them if we've sourced them, while other repair centers also will have aftermarket parts too.

Where do I buy new auto parts?

You can purchase genuine Mopar parts from our dealership, while there's also the auto parts stores that provide parts you need too.

Where do I buy used auto parts?

There are used auto part vendors online, but we would advise that you're sure you're getting the right fit, especially for a current Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram vehicle. You don't want to impact your integrity and we only advise doing this if you're restoring an older vehicle and the exact part isn't available, while also buying from a trusted source.

What do I do with old or defective auto parts I no longer need?

Find out what the proper disposal of them might be, such as a metal recycling center.
